making noise since '02
Ventura, California native Jayden Secor is a high-voltage force to be reckoned with. Blending country with elements of rock n’ roll, psychedelic jam, 90’s grunge and blues, Secor’s sound has no walls, and it’s for damn sure “not your grandpappy’s country” music.
Burnin' hell
Western Wind tells the story of two lovers being split up by the allure of the West, and the protagonist’s never-ending search for his other half. Secor, who spent some years growing up in the sun-soaked desert of Nevada, had no problem finding inspiration for the tune, as he writes about Red Rock Canyon; the mountain range he had grown up merely minutes from.
Produced by Guy Martin at BlackCouch Studio - Ventura, CA
